I started making art before understanding what I was doing.

Art has been my lifelong passion, Growing up watching my father's artistic career, I knew I wanted to become an artist too. I began painting for the sheer joy of capturing nature's beauty and tranquility.

As time went on, my art evolved. Beyond just aesthetics, I now seek to preserve fleeting moments, documenting life's changes. I simplify shapes and forms, playing with light and shadows, trying to grasp their elusive dance.

For me, art is a transformative alchemy. I aim to create something unique, yet recognizable, resonating deeply with others. It has connected me to cherished people and places.

Over the years teaching art has been a thrill, witnessing students' growth and success. Many have even won awards. 

Marin County, California, has been my artistic home for over 50 years. My work is admired by collectors, with some amassing dozens of my paintings.

You can find me at Art Works Downtown in San Rafael, CA, where I have my Studio/Gallery and still teach a few classes. 

Art is not just a luxury; it is an integral part of life, defining and enriching our existence.
